LEAF Charter School

Located at 789 Gilsum Mine Road in Alstead, New Hampshire, LEAF Charter School operated as an independent charter district nestled in a distant rural setting within the greater Keene metropolitan area. Established to deliver high school education spanning grades 9 through 12, the district offered a specialized alternative learning environment for secondary students in the region. However, national education data for the 2024–2025 academic reporting period indicates that the district has officially closed, maintaining zero operational schools under its umbrella and no longer acting as a local education agency for federal programs.

During its operating tenure, LEAF Charter School served a compact and focused student body totaling 103 scholars. The high school cohort was distributed across upper secondary grade levels, comprising 15 ninth graders, 22 tenth graders, 34 eleventh graders, and 32 graduating twelfth graders, with a demographic makeup of 62 female and 41 male students.
