TIERRA ADENTRO

Located at 1781 Bellemah Ave in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Tierra Adentro is an active independent charter district situated within a large city environment. Functioning as a single-school local education agency for federal programs, the open district provides comprehensive educational services tailored to middle and high school students across grades six through twelve. Situated in the heart of the Albuquerque metropolitan area, Tierra Adentro offers a focused learning community designed to guide students seamlessly from their entry in the 6th grade through high school graduation.

Serving a total population of 257 students, the district's enrollment includes 163 female students and 94 male students, spanning grades 6 through 12. Demographically, the student body includes 235 Hispanic, 13 White, 5 Black, 3 multiracial, and 1 American Indian student. To foster academic growth and operational excellence, the district maintains a substantial support framework totaling 71.64 full-time equivalent (FTE) staff members. This team includes 54.0 FTE teachers, 2.0 FTE instructional aides, and 15.64 FTE support staff, ensuring a well-resourced environment for the entire school community.
