ALMA D'ARTE CHARTER

Alma D'Arte Charter is an active, independent charter school district located at 402 West Court Ave in the midsize city of Las Cruces, New Mexico. Operating as its own local education agency for federal programs, the district manages a single secondary campus dedicated exclusively to high school education across grades 9 through 12. Positioned to offer an alternative secondary pathway within the region, the district provides accessible public education supported by a dedicated local footprint and web presence.

For the 2024–2025 academic year, the district serves an intimate cohort of 63 enrolled students, comprising 10 ninth graders, 21 tenth graders, 13 eleventh graders, and 19 seniors. The student population includes 41 female and 22 male students, representing a diverse background that includes 54 Hispanic, eight White, and one Black student. To deliver tailored instruction to this student body, Alma D'Arte Charter employs approximately 13.3 full-time equivalent (FTE) teachers alongside more than five FTE support staff members and instructional aides, resulting in an overall workforce of over 18 FTE positions. This substantial staffing context fosters an exceptionally small student-to-teacher ratio, creating a highly personalized educational environment for high schoolers.
