Headquartered at 179 Bridge Street in Las Vegas, New Mexico, the West Las Vegas school district serves as a vital traditional public educational institution within a remote town setting. Operating as an active, non-charter district, it oversees 10 operational schools that deliver comprehensive academic programming ranging from prekindergarten through 12th grade. The district fosters a dynamic student body of 1,609 learners, comprising 774 female and 835 male students across all grade levels. Reflecting the vibrant cultural demographic of the surrounding region, the student population predominantly includes 1,471 Hispanic students, along with 101 White, 11 Black, 10 American Indian, 8 Asian, and 8 multiracial students. To support this student base, West Las Vegas maintains a robust workforce of nearly 292 full-time equivalent staff members.
