Crystal Boarding School

Situated along Highway 134 in Navajo, New Mexico, Crystal Boarding School is an active, single-school public school district serving a remote rural community within the broader Farmington area. Designed to cultivate foundational academic growth, the district serves elementary students from kindergarten through the sixth grade. For the 2024–2025 academic year, the district enrolled a close-knit student body of 54 children—comprising 34 male and 20 female learners—all of American Indian heritage. This focused environment allows the school to tailor its early childhood and elementary programs directly to the cultural and educational needs of its local community.
