THE ASK ACADEMY

Located at 4550 Sundt Rd NE in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, The ASK Academy is an open, single-campus independent charter district serving the suburban Albuquerque metropolitan region. Operating as a dedicated local educational agency for federal programs, the academy specializes in secondary education, catering exclusively to students in grades 6 through 12. Positioned in a large suburban setting, the district offers a focused academic environment designed to guide scholars through crucial middle school developmental stages and prepare them for higher education or career pathways upon high school graduation.

In the 2024–2025 school year, The ASK Academy serves a total student body of 558 scholars, with robust enrollment across its middle school grades that transitions into dedicated high school cohorts. The campus reflects a diverse student community—comprising 264 Hispanic, 194 White, 77 multiracial, 11 Black, 7 Asian, and 5 American Indian students, alongside a student body of 359 male and 199 female learners. To foster an enriched educational experience, the district is supported by a substantial workforce of more than 122 full-time equivalent staff members. This workforce includes approximately 85.5 full-time teaching positions, 3 instructional aides, and nearly 34 support staff personnel, providing strong instructional oversight and comprehensive academic services.
