SUMMIT ACADEMY CHARTER SCHOOL

Summit Academy Charter School, an active independent charter district, provides dedicated secondary education from its campus at 27 Huntington Street in Brooklyn, New York. Situated in a large city setting within the New York metropolitan area, this single-school district serves middle and high school students spanning grades 6 through 12. Designed to guide scholars through crucial developmental stages and prepare them for post-secondary success, the school offers a continuous academic pathway through both early adolescence and upper-level secondary grades.

In the 2024–2025 school year, Summit Academy served a tight-knit community of 290 enrolled students, reflecting a culturally rich student body composed predominantly of Hispanic and Black scholars. To foster individual achievement and ensure comprehensive campus support, the district maintains a robust workforce featuring approximately 40 full-time equivalent teachers, an instructional aide, and over 14 support staff members, bringing total personnel to more than 55 dedicated professionals.
