Four County Career Center

Located at 22900 State Route 34 in Archbold, Ohio, the Four County Career Center functions as a fully operational public education service agency dedicated to specialized career and technical education. Set within a rural distant geographic setting, this non-charter district operates from a single dedicated campus designed to accommodate programs spanning grades 7 through 12, alongside early childhood learning offerings. The center serves as a vital secondary educational hub for the surrounding region, focusing its high school coursework primarily on upperclassmen in the 11th and 12th grades who are seeking rigorous vocational training, industry credentials, and practical career preparation alongside their academic requirements.

For the 2024–2025 school year, the district serves a student body of 907 learners, including 436 eleventh graders, 459 twelfth graders, and a small pre-kindergarten cohort. To support this specialized instructional environment, Four County Career Center maintains a substantial professional workforce totaling 315 full-time equivalent (FTE) staff members. This staffing framework includes 160 FTE classroom teachers, 9 instructional aides, and 146 support staff members, ensuring that students benefit from low student-to-instructor ratios, dedicated personal mentorship, and comprehensive administrative support across all technical programs and academic disciplines.
