Columbus Collegiate Academy

Columbus Collegiate Academy is an active independent charter school district dedicated to serving middle school students in the heart of Columbus, Ohio. Located at 1469 E Main Street, this single-school district operates as its own Local Educational Agency for federal programs, allowing for a focused organizational structure and tailored academic programming designed specifically for young adolescents. Concentrating its instructional resources on a single campus along East Main Street, the academy serves students exclusively in sixth, seventh, and eighth grades, bridging the crucial educational phase between elementary school and high school readiness.

The district maintains a close-knit learning community with a total enrollment of 240 middle schoolers, currently comprising 86 sixth graders, 92 seventh graders, and 62 eighth graders. The student body reflects a rich demographic tapestry, composed of 171 Black students, 38 Hispanic students, 16 White students, 14 multiracial students, and 1 Asian student, balanced across a population of 131 male and 109 female learners.
