Road to Success Academy

Located at 1634 Minnesota Ave in Columbus, Ohio, Road to Success Academy is an active independent charter district operating within a vibrant, large city setting. Designed as a dedicated secondary learning environment, this single-school district serves high school students in ninth through eleventh grade and functions as its own local educational agency for federal programs. Positioned within the greater Columbus metropolitan area, the academy provides a focused academic pathway tailored to helping young learners build foundational skills during critical high school years.

During the 2024–2025 school year, Road to Success Academy maintains a focused, close-knit learning community with a total enrollment of 59 students, including 29 ninth graders, 17 tenth graders, and 13 eleventh graders. The student body is demographically diverse—comprising 45 Black, 10 White, and 4 Hispanic students, with a breakdown of 33 female and 26 male learners. To foster an individualized learning experience, the district employs 12 full-time equivalent teachers along with a dedicated support staff member, resulting in a total staff of 13. This exceptionally low student-to-teacher ratio of under five to one allows educators to deliver direct mentorship and personalized instruction, creating a supportive educational setting for students, families, and education researchers alike.
