Nestled in a rural setting in northeastern Oklahoma, the Cleora Public School District serves the local community of Afton from its campus at 451358 East 295 Rd. Operating as an active, traditional public school district comprised of a single instructional facility, Cleora provides an intimate and focused academic environment dedicated to early childhood and elementary-middle grade education, spanning pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. During the 2024–2025 academic year, the district enrolled 167 students, maintaining balanced class sizes from pre-kindergarten through the middle grades. The vibrant student body reflects the cultural tapestry of the region, featuring significant American Indian and White student populations alongside Hispanic, Black, Asian, and multiracial learners. Cleora is characterized by an exceptionally robust support framework, employing a total staff context of approximately 77 full-time equivalent (FTE) positions.
