Lane Public School District is an active, traditional public school system serving the rural remote community of Lane, Oklahoma. Operating from its single campus located at 601 W McGee Creek Rd, this non-charter district provides foundational educational programming spanning from Pre-Kindergarten through eighth grade. Situated in southeastern Oklahoma, the district delivers a close-knit, supportive environment tailored to early childhood, elementary, and middle-school learners before they transition to high school programs.

For the 2024–2025 academic year, the district educates a student body of 229 children, maintaining steady class sizes across all offered grades.
