Virtual Preparatory Academy (CHARTER)

Located at 309 NW 13th Street in Oklahoma City, Virtual Preparatory Academy is an open, independent charter school district operating within a vibrant, large-city environment. Operating two schools, the district offers comprehensive academic programming serving students from kindergarten through 10th grade. As an independent charter local educational agency (LEA), the academy provides families across the metropolitan region with a flexible and structured educational alternative tailored to urban communities.

During the 2024–2025 academic year, the district serves a diverse student body of 223 students, comprising 114 male and 109 female learners. The enrollment breakdown includes 112 White, 54 Black, 28 American Indian, 23 Hispanic, 5 Pacific Islander, and 1 Asian student distributed across the elementary, middle, and early high school grade levels. To deliver its curriculum and support student development, the district employs a total staff of 30 full-time equivalent (FTE) professionals, including 26 full-time instructional teachers and 4 dedicated support staff members. This strong instructional presence ensures a supportive staff-to-student ratio focused on individualized academic growth and engagement.
