Southmoreland School District is an active, traditional public school system headquartered at 2351 Route 981 in Alverton, Pennsylvania. Located within the greater Pittsburgh metropolitan region and characterized by its fringe town setting, the district operates four academic facilities serving students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. As a non-charter, comprehensive public educational authority, Southmoreland provides a continuous K–12 academic pathway across Westmoreland County, offering structured programs across primary, middle, and secondary education levels to prepare students for post-secondary and career success.
