North East SD

Located at 50 E Division St in North East, Pennsylvania, the North East School District is an active, traditional public school system serving the rural fringe of the greater Erie metropolitan area. Operating three traditional public schools, the district offers a comprehensive educational continuum spanning from Kindergarten through 12th grade. As a non-charter public school district, North East SD provides a cohesive academic path designed to guide local youth through their foundational elementary years, middle school, and high school graduation.

For the 2024–2025 academic year, the district serves an overall student population of 1,435 learners, composed of 781 male and 654 female students. The student body is predominantly White (1,285 students), alongside growing Hispanic (65), multiracial (62), Black (17), American Indian (3), Pacific Islander (2), and Asian (1) student communities. To foster academic growth and operational efficiency, North East SD is backed by a robust workforce of over 525 full-time equivalent staff members. This dedicated team includes approximately 263.6 full-time equivalent teachers, 33 instructional aides, and 228.6 support personnel, ensuring students receive dedicated classroom instruction and comprehensive institutional support.
