Propel CS-East

Located at 1611 Monroeville Avenue in Turtle Creek, Pennsylvania, Propel CS-East is an active, independent charter district serving families within the suburban landscape of the greater Pittsburgh metropolitan area. Operating as a single-school local education agency for federal programs, the district provides a focused academic track covering kindergarten through eighth grade. By concentrating exclusively on primary and middle-grade education, Propel CS-East establishes a tailored learning environment designed to build foundational skills and smoothly guide young scholars through their crucial early developmental years.

During the 2024–2025 academic year, the district serves a diverse student body of 341 children, including 190 female and 151 male students. The vibrant student population is composed of 232 Black students, 53 White students, 41 students of two or more races, 12 Hispanic students, and 3 American Indian students. To foster academic growth and comprehensive student care, the district maintains a dedicated workforce totaling approximately 90 full-time equivalent staff members. This team features roughly 50 full-time teachers, 7 instructional aides, and more than 33 support personnel, reflecting a strong institutional commitment to individualized attention and robust operational support across all grade levels.
