Charette Charter

Located at 335 Westminster St. in Providence, Rhode Island, Charette Charter is an active, independent charter district providing dedicated secondary education within a midsize city environment. Operating a single school facility within the Providence-Warwick metropolitan area, the district focuses exclusively on high school students across grades 9 through 12. For the 2024–2025 academic year, Charette Charter serves a total of 168 enrolled students, balanced across grade levels with 46 ninth graders, 42 tenth graders, 37 eleventh graders, and 43 twelfth graders. The student body consists of 81 female and 87 male students, representing a diverse community that includes 109 Hispanic students, 54 Black students, two Asian students, two students of two or more races, and one White student.

To support its academic model, Charette Charter maintains a robust workforce relative to its student body size. The district employs 62 full-time equivalent (FTE) staff members, which includes 20 FTE classroom teachers, 8 FTE instructional aides, and 34 FTE support staff members.
