BELLS ISD

Located at 1550 Ole Ambrose Road in Bells, Texas, Bells ISD is an open, regular public school district operating in a rural distant setting within the Sherman-Denison metropolitan area. Structured as a traditional, non-charter district that operates independently of any supervisory union, it maintains three operational school campuses. The district provides a complete educational pathway for families in its community, serving students from early childhood pre-kindergarten programs through 12th grade.

For the 2024–2025 academic year, Bells ISD serves a total enrollment of 1,007 students, consisting of 520 male and 487 female students. The student body represents a range of demographic backgrounds, including 797 White, 117 Hispanic, 62 multiracial, 12 American Indian, 8 Black, 7 Pacific Islander, and 4 Asian students. Educational and operational functions across the district are supported by a full-time equivalent (FTE) staff totaling 279.54 personnel, comprising 165.42 teacher FTEs, 14.14 instructional aide FTEs, and 99.98 support staff FTEs.
