MILDRED ISD

Mildred ISD is an active, traditional public school district headquartered at 5475 S HWY 287 in Corsicana, Texas. Set within a distant rural area in the greater Corsicana region, the district operates two public school facilities designed to serve students from Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade. Functioning as an independent public district rather than a charter system or part of a supervisory union, Mildred ISD provides a streamlined, continuous learning environment for families seeking a comprehensive PK–12 education in a close-knit rural community.

The district currently educates a total of 838 students, comprising 444 male and 394 female learners. Representing a diverse cross-section of the local population, the student body includes 566 White students, 217 Hispanic students, 30 students of two or more races, 16 Black students, 6 Asian students, 2 American Indian students, and 1 Pacific Islander student. Educational and operational needs are supported by a robust workforce of over 259 full-time equivalent staff members. This team features 125 full-time equivalent teachers, 21 instructional aides, and more than 113 specialized support staff members, ensuring high-quality instructional delivery and personalized care throughout the district's campuses.
