CRANE ISD

Situated in the rural remote community of Crane, Texas, Crane Independent School District serves as a cornerstone of learning for the surrounding West Texas region. Headquartered at 511 W. 8th Street, this fully open, traditional public school district operates three active campus facilities designed to support children throughout their entire educational journey, offering instruction from pre-kindergarten all the way through 12th grade. Operating independently of charter systems or supervisory unions, the district provides a centralized and cohesive learning pathway tailored to meet the academic and developmental needs of its local youth.

With a student enrollment of 1,233 learners, Crane ISD fosters a diverse school community featuring a strong Hispanic representation alongside White, Black, Asian, and multiracial students. To ensure individualized attention and academic growth, the district is backed by a robust staffing structure comprising approximately 145 full-time equivalent teachers and nearly 35 instructional aides.
