ACADEMY FOR ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE

The Academy for Academic Excellence is an open, independent charter district located at 1673 Terre Colony Court in Dallas, Texas. Operating within the large urban setting of the Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington metropolitan area, the district serves secondary students from sixth through twelfth grade across four operational school facilities. As a public charter functioning as its own local educational agency for federal programs, the district provides a targeted middle and high school learning environment tailored to meet the needs of its surrounding community.

According to federal education data for the 2024–2025 school year, the district serves a student population of 280 pupils, with the highest concentration enrolled in the early high school grades. Reflecting the demographic diversity of its metropolitan surroundings, the student body includes 156 Black students, 105 Hispanic students, 13 White students, and smaller representations of Asian, American Indian, and multiracial students, with a gender distribution of 214 male and 66 female students. To support learning and campus operations, the district maintains a comprehensive staffing model comprising approximately 101 full-time equivalent teachers and 48 support personnel, creating a well-resourced instructional environment dedicated to student success.
