TEXAS WORKS

Texas Works is a newly established independent charter district headquartered at 1301 Waters Ridge in Lewisville, Texas. Situated within a dynamic urban environment in the greater Dallas–Fort Worth–Arlington metropolitan area, the district operates as a specialized public educational agency focused exclusively on secondary education for students in grades 9 through 12. Managing a broad network of 23 operational schools, Texas Works currently serves a high school student body of 446 learners, with enrollment concentrated heavily in the upper grade levels, culminating in a senior class of 166 students. The student population is predominantly female and reflects a vibrant, diverse community, composed primarily of Hispanic (318) and Black (62) scholars, alongside White (53) and multiracial students.

To deliver on its academic mandate, Texas Works maintains an expansive operational framework supported by a dedicated workforce of more than 190 full-time equivalent staff members. The teaching environment is anchored by approximately 49 full-time equivalent teachers and instructional aides, complemented by a substantial support staff of nearly 140 full-time equivalent personnel who provide critical administrative, guidance, and wrap-around student services. This strong emphasis on specialized support infrastructure highlights the district's holistic approach to high school preparation.
