LORENA ISD

Lorena Independent School District is an active, traditional public school district headquartered at 308 N Frontage Rd in Lorena, Texas. Situated in a rural fringe setting within the greater Waco metropolitan area, the district operates four academic campuses that deliver a continuous educational pathway from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. The district serves a student body of 1,817 learners, comprising 924 male and 893 female students. Demographically, the student population includes 1,374 White students and 309 Hispanic students, alongside vibrant representation from Black, multiracial, Asian, American Indian, and Pacific Islander student groups.

To cultivate a supportive educational environment, Lorena ISD maintains a strong staffing structure totaling approximately 545 full-time equivalent (FTE) personnel. The core instructional team includes 271 FTE classroom teachers supported by nearly 36 FTE instructional aides, allowing for attentive, individualized guidance across all primary and secondary grade levels.
