LEGACY PREPARATORY

Legacy Preparatory is an active, open independent charter school district situated at 2727 Military Parkway in Mesquite, Texas. Serving families within the broader Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington metropolitan area, the district operates in a large suburban setting across two operational campuses. Legacy Preparatory offers a comprehensive educational continuum spanning from Pre-Kindergarten all the way through 12th grade. Functioning as a local educational agency for federal programs, the district provides a continuous and structured academic journey that prepares students for post-secondary education and future career pathways within a single unified system.

The district currently serves a student body of 1,138 learners, including 590 male and 548 female students, representing a culturally rich and diverse community with vibrant Hispanic and Black student populations. To effectively guide and nurture this student body, Legacy Preparatory maintains a dedicated team of approximately 231 full-time equivalent (FTE) staff members. This educational framework is anchored by over 126 full-time equivalent teachers, supported by 14 instructional aides and a substantial team of more than 90 administrative and support staff professionals. This well-rounded staffing model ensures that students receive personalized classroom instruction alongside the holistic support necessary for academic and personal growth.
