Ogden Preparatory Academy

Located at 1415 Lincoln Ave in Ogden, Utah, Ogden Preparatory Academy is an active, independent charter district situated within a small city environment. Operating a single school site as its own local education agency for federal programs, the academy provides a seamless educational pathway spanning from pre-kindergarten through ninth grade. This integrated grade structure allows the open public charter to foster long-term community connections as students transition through their early childhood, elementary, and early secondary schooling years.

For the 2024–2025 school year, the academy serves a student body of 1,014 children, balanced between 515 male and 499 female students. The district reflects a vibrant, multicultural population, composed of 777 Hispanic students, 190 White students, 24 multiracial students, 12 Black students, 6 American Indian students, 3 Asian students, and 2 Pacific Islander students. To foster academic development and day-to-day operational success, the district maintains a robust staffing framework totaling approximately 300 full-time equivalent (FTE) positions. This team includes roughly 112 teaching professionals, 41 instructional aides, and nearly 148 dedicated support staff members, offering students a well-resourced learning environment tailored to their academic and personal growth.
