Beehive Science & Technology Academy

Beehive Science & Technology Academy is an open, independent public charter district situated at 2165 East 9400 South in Sandy, Utah. Nestled within a large suburban setting in the Salt Lake City-Murray metropolitan region, the district functions as its own local educational agency for federal programs and encompasses two operational facilities. Serving a complete Kindergarten through 12th-grade continuum, the academy delivers a structured academic environment designed to guide students seamlessly from their early elementary years through high school graduation.

During the 2024–2025 academic year, the district supports a diverse body of 859 enrolled students, comprising 450 White, 179 Asian, 143 Hispanic, 46 multi-racial, 27 Black, 12 Pacific Islander, and American Indian learners. Student enrollment is well-distributed across all grade levels, with particularly strong representation in the middle grades, such as 93 seventh-grade students, transitioning into smaller, specialized high school cohorts. To foster academic success and holistic support, the district maintains a robust workforce of approximately 166 full-time equivalent staff members, including over 101 teachers, nearly 10 instructional aides, and 55 support staff personnel dedicated to maintaining high educational standards across the district.
