American Academy of Innovation

The American Academy of Innovation is an active, independent charter school district located at 5410 S Jordan Parkway in South Jordan, Utah. Operating as a single-school district situated in a rural fringe setting within the Salt Lake City–Murray metropolitan region, the academy offers a specialized secondary education program serving students from 6th through 12th grade. With a focused student body of 373 enrolled learners, the district provides a close-knit learning environment designed to guide students seamlessly from early middle school through high school graduation.

To support academic growth and school operations, the district maintains a robust staffing infrastructure totaling over 91 full-time equivalent staff members. This dedicated team includes approximately 41 full-time equivalent classroom teachers, 3 instructional aides, and over 47 support personnel, ensuring students benefit from low student-to-staff ratios and tailored learning experiences. Serving a student body composed of 206 male and 167 female students across diverse cultural and racial backgrounds, the American Academy of Innovation combines independent charter flexibility with strong institutional support to prepare its secondary students for post-secondary success.
