Terra Academy

Located at 267 Aggie Blvd. in Vernal, Utah, Terra Academy is an open, independent charter district providing a continuous public education from kindergarten through 12th grade. Situated in a remote town setting within the broader Vernal micropolitan area, this single-school district serves as a central learning hub for the local community. For the 2024–2025 academic year, the academy boasts a total enrollment of 595 students, comprising 330 male and 265 female learners. The student body brings together diverse backgrounds across all primary and secondary grades, including 551 White, 25 Hispanic, 11 multiracial, four American Indian, two Asian, and two Pacific Islander students, creating a close-knit environment for families seeking a comprehensive K–12 pathway.

To support its student population, Terra Academy maintains a strong staffing structure totaling approximately 148 full-time equivalent (FTE) positions. The district’s academic programs are driven by roughly 62 FTE teachers, reinforced by nearly 18 FTE instructional aides who assist with personalized learning and classroom management.
