Cashton School District

Located at 540 Coe St in Cashton, Wisconsin, the Cashton School District is an open, traditional public school system serving families across a rural distant community setting within the greater Sparta metropolitan area. Operating two educational facilities, the district offers a continuous academic pathway spanning from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. As a standalone, non-charter public school system, Cashton provides a fully integrated environment designed to foster academic growth, foundational literacy, and post-secondary readiness for local youth across every stage of their K–12 development.

During the 2024–2025 academic year, the district serves a student body of 605 children, maintaining balanced enrollment across all grade levels—ranging from 43 pre-kindergarten learners to a senior class of 50 high school students. Demographically, the student body comprises 317 male and 288 female students, with a population that includes 532 White students, 63 Hispanic students, and small cohorts of Black and multiracial students. To foster strong academic support and maintain smooth daily operations, the district relies on a dedicated workforce of approximately 188 full-time equivalent (FTE) personnel. This staffing model includes nearly 114 FTE teaching staff alongside instructional aides and support professionals, ensuring a low student-to-staff ratio and strong community-centered guidance.
