Fontana J8 School District

Located along the rural fringe in Fontana, Wisconsin, the Fontana J8 School District serves as an active, single-campus public school system situated at 450 S Main St. Operating independently outside of a supervisory union or charter network within the Whitewater-Elkhorn metropolitan area, the district focuses exclusively on foundational education, serving students from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. This tailored structural design allows the district to cultivate a cohesive early childhood and middle-grades learning environment, guiding young scholars through their formative academic years before they move on to secondary education.

The district maintains an intimate school community with a total enrollment of 197 students, spanning balanced grade levels from 22 pre-kindergarteners to 23 eighth-graders, with a near-even gender distribution of 100 female and 97 male students.
