Freedom Area School District

Located along N4021 County Road E in Freedom, Wisconsin, the Freedom Area School District is an active, traditional public school system serving the rural fringe of the broader Appleton metropolitan area. Operating across three distinct schools, the district offers a seamless educational continuum for 1,540 enrolled students, spanning from pre-kindergarten all the way through twelfth grade. The student body is evenly balanced, comprising 774 male and 766 female learners, representing a close-knit community with a demographic makeup that includes White, Hispanic, multiracial, American Indian, and Asian students.

To deliver focused academic instruction and supportive learning environments across all early childhood, elementary, and secondary grade levels, the district relies on a substantial workforce of more than 357 full-time equivalent (FTE) staff members. This team features approximately 225 FTE teachers, 16 FTE instructional aides, and over 115 FTE dedicated support staff who ensure daily operational excellence.
