Mount Auburn Preparatory Academy

Located at 244 Southern Ave in Cincinnati, Ohio, Mount Auburn Preparatory Academy is an open, single-school independent charter district offering a complete kindergarten through 12th-grade educational pathway. Situated within a vibrant, large-city setting in the greater Cincinnati metropolitan area, this public charter district operates as its own local educational agency for federal programs, allowing for tailored governance and targeted resource allocation. The academy supports a student body of 381 children, maintaining a relatively balanced gender representation of 197 female and 184 male students spread across elementary, middle, and high school grades. The student body is culturally rich and predominantly composed of Black students (350), alongside multiracial (18), Hispanic (6), White (3), Asian (2), and American Indian (2) learners. To foster student success and maintain a responsive learning environment, the district employs a robust full-time equivalent (FTE) team of 78 staff members. This holistic workforce includes 35 classroom teachers, 6 instructional aides, and 37 specialized support staff members, ensuring students receive dedicated academic instruction, personalized guidance, and well-rounded wrap-around services throughout their K–12 experience.
